Alabama Does not respect WKU: I believe Alabama will be unpleasantly surprised when the WKU offense (Who beat Rice 46-14) starts out strong. Alabama vs USC scored 0 points in the 1st half when WKU scored 16.

QB Battle?:

Alabama: Jalen Hurts ( A Freshman ) only threw for 118 yards and also had an INT (With 2td), and against this Young CUSA Defense he will be tested. WKU held Rice University’s QB Tyler Stehling to 186 yards and picked him off twice while allowing NO passing TDs.

WKU: Mike White ( A Junior ) Picked apart the Rice defense, compiling 517, 3TD, and no Interceptions! He had a QB rating of 252.7 and completed 80% of his passes. I understand that Alabama’s Defense is one of the best in the Nation but you just can’t argue with those numbers.

Passing Defense: Alabama secondary will be tested with the passing attack of WKU, Alabama allowed a 36-yard passing play to Darreus  Rodgers in last week’s game, but WKU’s biggest play against there defense was a 26-yard pass play. With WKU’s wide receivers averaging 21 yards, a catch Alabama will need to keep their heads on a swivel. If WKU can keep ArDarius Stewart under control, just like they did with Zach Wright of Rice ( 3 rec. 15 yards) they will have an edge over Alabama defensively.
